It is still Spring!

The weather over here is a bit all over the place, it's sunny, cloudy and windy on the same day making it difficult to decide on what to wear! I don't want to wear something so summery because it will be cold thanks to the wind, but I can't wear my shearling jacket either, I'll be burning hot! Please weather don't make me spend more than 30mins just to get dress to uni or work!!!!! Hahahaha..

So here is what I was wearing to work yesterday.

Playsuit from urbanoutfitters.com, CUE boyfriend blazer, Sportsgirl accessories and oxford.

I just bouth the playsuit last week from UrbanOutfitters.com and it arrived on Tuesday, so I've decided to wear it yesterday as the weather was sunny and yet windy (that's why I need to pair the playsuit with the boyfriend blazer). I bought another playsuit from UrbanOutfitters.com as well and I really really can't wait to wear it when the weather gets a bit warmer :):)

I borrowed the straw hat from my workplace as I am still looking for the perfect one to complete my summer look! What do you think about the whole outfit? Love it or hate it?

I have also updated my LOOKBOOK. Check it out here :)

S for sequins and shorts

Just bought the Secret Squirrels sequin cardi from Pigeonhole (my all time fave boutique!) and the black shorts from the Urban Depot at Leederville. When I was about to buy the shorts, I wasn't too sure whether to buy or not since honestly I don't fancy my legs, they're HUGE!!!!! But the girl was telling me that there is no shorts that are too short anymore! Good point so I decided to get it! Hahahaha, the assistant had me!

My fave knuckle rings, from Lovisa (left) and Sportsgirl (right)

I've been really really packed with assignments and work, I would love to reply everyone's comments (not that I have a lot haha) and blog everyday but I just don't have the time yet! But promise all of yous, once I'm done with these useless assignments I will update my blog regularly, so follow my blog as I will keep and share with you my beautiful findings this season :)

u-oh not to forget to mention that I've updated my Lookbook as welll. Click here to see and hype it :) xx

"Recycle" your wardrobe!

I really don't want this study week break to end!!!!!! but it's wednesday already!! :(:(

So what are you guys up to today? Did a massive shopping for the weekend? ;) I hope you do, or else I'll feel guilty for spending lots of money today. I bought a sequin jacket online and will wear it to the fashion show, so no pictures for the moment just to surprise all of yous! I've promised not to buy anything this week, looks like I just broke it but it's totally worth it! Hahahaha.

Well, I had to take my mum to the doctor today and just realised I had nothing to wear! So I've decided to "recycle" my clothes and opened up a box of old clothing that I've piled! Turned out that I did have lots of things to wear now! So if you think you don't have anything to wear, step back and look closely in your closet you might find your old stocks and wear them in a new way :) Here are the pic of what I was wearing today..

Thrifted Satchel Bag, Zara Boyfriend Blazer, Sportsgirl Denim Skirt and Oxford Shoes, necklace as bracelets

And I just updated my Lookbook too. How was your day? care to share? :)

Relaxing day out!

It's such a pity that I haven't been updating my blog regularly as uni assignments are getting on my way :( But today I had a chance to take a few photos around Leederville as it's my study week break!!! YEAYYY!!! The weather wasn't going too well over here, it was raining all day (well most of the day).

Me and my friend went to Leederville to try this french cafe called Francois as they have beautiful looking desserts and macarons. It was a bit disappointing though as the girl wasn't very friendly and she's a bit unprofessional in food handling as she packed my dessert using her BARE HANDS! Yes no gloves no nothing! I'm usually not a clean freak but it annoyed the hell out of me! The desserts that I bought was the Pistachio with Choc Mousse and Raspberry with White Choc Mousse, they weren't as awesome as I expected them to be and the macarons weren't that amazing either! There's hardly any paste in it! Gosh what an experience! But love the place it's quiet and calm, a good place to relax when it's wet and windy outside.

What I wore yesterday

I am totally flatted out this week! So many things to do in so little time! I have to look for a few dresses or outfits for the Perth Fashion Festival events coming up as well as my friend's wedding!! With no luck I am still stuck with nothing but I'll wait for Veronika Maine's campaign dresses (in store Sept 5th)! Totally can't wait and finger crossed they will look super STUNNING, or else I'll end up walking the catwalk naked!

Last night me and my friends went to the City and I bought this book (below). The main reason me buying the book was for my assignment but I know deep down inside I bought it since I've had my eyes on it ages ago.

Cue lace fitted should pad top, Stella Forrest leather mini skirt, Cue leather cuffs, Sportsgirl ring and bracelet, and Zomp wedges.

we went to greens & co. afterwards and just chillax! I have work tomorrow too! Gosh, I think I need to cut my working hours since I spend more time working rather than studying :( Ciao for now! xx

Frock Stars exhibition!

Out of all the places I went, the one that I enjoyed the most was the trip to Powerhouse Museum. Lucky me, I made it to the Frock Stars exhibition sponsored by Rosemount to celebrate the 15th year of Australian Fashion Week. The exhibition is on till October 10, 2010, so if you haven't been to the exhibition yet, you better make your way there like RIGHT NOW! It's such a great opportunity since this doesn't happen every year, so don't miss it out!!! The exhibition takes you from backstage to front row, from the designer's work room to the final dresses; all in one. When I got there I freaked out in excitement and was like all over the place enjoying the setting and the scenes, it was totally worth the $5 ticket! here are some of my founding that I thought shall be shared with all of yous :)

Dress by Dion Lee. Simply in love with the draping details there!

A simple printed tee dress by Karen Walker (2000). It is effortlessly chic (or maybe the setting and pearl for the prop make this dress stands out).

Great creation by someone (I forgot the name), but love the innovative use of the rubbish bag as a full skirt. Adore the pleating details at the top.
The Shell Shoes. Somehow it always reminds me of Miu Miu heels. It's not Miu Miu's btw.

Who wouldn't kill to walk in these heels?! I said this not bcos it's another genius creation from Louboutin, but look how sexy these heels are! Remind me of a sexy kitten LOL

Nicola Finetti's workroom.

One of NF's stunning dresses. Look at the craftmanship that went to the middle dress!!!!! W O W!!!!!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE the sophistication in the details.

Peter Chang Genius creation of an expensive plastic bracelet. It took him 246hours to do this piece! It's HUMONGOUS in real life btw, I can't imagine myself wearing it, I probably will be stuck to my handbags' handles LOL. I think it's too unique to be worn in real life :)

I was wearing Witchery denim shirt, Stella Forrest leather mini skirt, Sportsgirl silver pearl bracelet, Myer leather biker gloves, Dotti Combat boots and Balenciaga city in Pomegranate

What do you think of the very short tour of the exhibition? Interested to go there now? You better be! Hahahaha.

My heart tripped in Sydney!

Finally I'm back from my shortest trip to Sydney!!! It was a crazy and hectic 5 days trip since I had to go to lots of different places in such a short time. It was actually really windy over there but the outfits that I brought were totally ready for a Spring season! So I ended up doing some shopping for Winter clothing (well I guess it's another reason to spend hahahaha).
was wearing Sportsgirl parka, thrifted faux fur vest, ASOS belt, ZARA latex leggings, Dotti combat boots, and Balenciaga city in Pomegranate

My first impression on Sydney was 'Am I in China or what?!!' No offence or being racist here (i myself is a Chinese), but EVERYWHERE in Sydney was full of Chinese (even the sales assistant at Hermes)!!!! I felt that I went overseas not over east. The city has a really good vibe and alive though. If one day I have to move to Sydney for good, I'll make sure that I live in the city not in the suburban area. I don't know why but I don't feel it there, might be that I've been living in Perth for TOO long! But don't worry, if I have the chance to live in NYC, I'll die for it!!!!!! Hahahaha

Make a statement this season with wedges!

(I've updated my LOOKBOOK, check it out here)

I really felt I needed a huge retail therapy after feeling down not knowing what to  wear today. Finally, I put my vintage pale pink shirt and grey harem pants from Witchery together and belted it up with a thrifted dark brown skinny belt (to give more waist line to my body, I really need to define my waist by working out!). And I finally worn my newest pair of wedge out today (since the weather during the weekend was pretty ugly and I didn't wanna turn my baby to a fugly untreated pair of heels hahaha). My pomegranate Balenciaga City gave this whole outfit a subtle colour punch since too much colours isn't my cup of tea, no offence to anyone who does :)

My day was pretty boring, just went out and about with my mum (yes it's mother and daughter outing day minus the shopping). How was yours? Another boring Monday?

The memories are written on the train track

*If you like or inspired by this look, hype it at LOOKBOOK :)

Yeay it's nice and bright today meaning a good day ahead!! I went to Claremont today because I was craving for the best teriyaki beef in Perth by Sunkatsura. I was wearing an oversized navy shirt from Ally (they have good clothes if you look thoroughly), my all time fave khaki shorts from Sportsgirl, black riding boots from Zara and black detective coat from Country Road.

Well well well, luck wasn't on my side, I couldn't spot Sunkatsura's new place or maybe they just haven't reopened yet. So we went to the nearest cafe, the Coffee Club. I don't usually go to Claremont since the distance is pretty far from home and I just realised there's this new shopping centre built called Claremont Quarters. The last time I went there was April 2009 and the centre was pretty much dead (I didn't even remember the name!), but it's gotten pretty busy these days which means another shopping destination in Perth :):):)

This is me and Natasha, who did a really great job in taking photos for the blog!! LOVEEEE all of the shots, thank you! :):):)

I had a really great (and tiring) day out today. How was yours? Care to share your thoughts? I don't bite that's for sure! :)

If you like or inspired by this look, hype it at LOOKBOOK

It's Tuesday, another boring day even though the weather is getting better over here. I stayed at home and rearranged my wardrobe since it was a mess and I couldn't find my scarf! Hahaha. Then I went to the movie and watched 'Karate Kid'. I was wearing the cheapest bargain t-shirt from Dotti (for $3!) and paired it with latex leggings from Zara. Surprisingly the night wasn't that cold so decided to wear my Oxford from Sportsgirl.

The movie was okay, well it was funny at some parts but I reckon it was a bit too long to get to the point. Or maybe my expectation was really high since everyone's been telling me that it is a really great movie. Overall, it's a good family movie :)

damn, my uni results will be out tomorrow! NOT LOOKING FORWARD to see it, plus this means the semester break is nearly over!!!! :(:(:(:(

Jean Pierre Sancho!

*Hype this look at my LookBook Account

Last week me and my friend went to a new French Patisserie on the corner of Shato Lane, Perth. It's called Jean Pierre Sancho. I was wearing a vintage faux fur vest (thanks to mom!), brown combat boots from Dotti, men's checked shirt (and you wouldn't believe where I got the shirt from!) from the local supermarket! Hahaha. And Brown Saskia Chloe bag.

We ordered Ham & Pear Baguette and Ham & Cheese something... The lunch was okay nothing really special, BUT the desserts are FAHH-BUU-LOUSSS!!!!! If you are a dessert person just like me, this place is Heaven on Earth! Wide range of variations from basic eclairs to macaroons!!!

Blueberry, Vanilla, Orange, Strawberry, Blueberry, Pistachio Macaroon

Mango something dessert! This tastes great too!

The place is holy packed during lunch time so better grab an early lunch and afternoon tea before the seats gone. The interior is well set, very French and oh the smell of the fresh baked breads are lingering! Highly recommended for a place to enjoy a cup of tea with a special companion :)

*Sorry about the low res images, will remind myself to bring SLR cam in my pocket (if it will ever fits to one)!

I miss the bright sunny Sunday!

The weather totally killed me! Sunday is supposed to be bright and yet yesterday was rainy and windy! So decided to have fun inside and went to a friend's house to do her make-up assignment. She did a high fashion make up on me and Peacock was her inspiration. Loveeeee the eyeshadow and of course the extravagant fake eyelash, it's AH-MAHH-ZINNGGG!!!! Finally she found the inner talent in herself hahaha. Uh-oh she also did the Business look as a part of her assignment.
